ه هدفت ابحث إلى التعرف على واقع تكنولوجيا المعلومات ومستوى الأداء الإداري في مكتب المالية بمدينة تعز، والتعرف على أثر تكنولوجيا المعلومات بأبعادها (الأجهزة، البرمجيات، الشبكات، قواعد البيانات، الأفراد) في تحسين الأداء الإداري في المكتب وكذلك معرفة مدى وجود اختلاف في دور تكنولوجيا المعلومات وتحسين الأداء الإداري يُعزى للعوامل الديمغرافية (الجنس، المؤهل العلمي، المسمى الوظيفي، مدة الخدمة، العمر).

ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتم استخدام الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة، و تم توزيع الاستبانة على عينة الدراسة لعدد ()113 موظفا،ً حيث تم اختيارهم من خلال الحصر الشامل لمجتمع الدراسة من جميع العاملين في مكتب المالية بمدينة تعز، وتم استعادة ( )102استبانة، وتم تحليل البيانات بالاعتماد على مجموعة من الأساليب باستخدام برنامج الحزمة الإحصائية .spss

وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج أهمها:

The Impact of Information Technology on Improving Administrative Performance: A Field Study at the Finance Office in Taiz City

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the current status of information technology (IT) and the level of administrative performance at the Finance Office in Taiz City. It also sought to investigate the impact of information technology, through its dimensions—hardware, software, networks, databases, and human resources—on improving administrative performance within the office. In addition, the study explored whether there were statistically significant differences in the role of information technology in enhancing administrative performance attributable to demographic variables, including gender, educational qualification, job title, length of service, and age.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive-analytical approach was employed. A questionnaire was used as the primary data collection instrument and was distributed to a sample of (113) employees, selected through a comprehensive census of all employees at the Finance Office in Taiz City. A total of (102) valid questionnaires were retrieved. The collected data were analyzed using a range of statistical methods through the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).

The study reached several key findings, most notably:

The existence of a positive correlation between information technology, in all its dimensions (hardware, software, networks, databases, and human resources), and the improvement of administrative performance at the Finance Office in Taiz City.
A high level of information technology utilization and administrative practice across the sub-dimensions and the overall measurement scale.

The most statistically significant dimensions affecting administrative performance were human resources and software, whereas the dimensions of hardware, networks, and databases did not show statistical significance at the (0.05) level. This indicates that the mere availability of technological infrastructure is insufficient unless accompanied by effective human and software investment.
